Regina Root Canals/Endodontic Treatment
When deep decay, trauma or infection happens to a tooth; cold, hot, or bite sensitivity can occur. The infected or traumatized nerve that lies within the root(s) is removed and then the root structure is filled and sealed. Most root canalled teeth will need a crown to strengthen the tooth. Left untreated a tooth needing a root canal can develop an abscess which may result in losing the tooth.
Fillings/Composite Restorations
We only use tooth coloured mercury free fillings. Composite is a resin material that we cure with a light. With the light curing it bonds the filling directly to the remaining tooth structure sealing it completely. These are the most aesthetically pleasing fillings that can enhance the shape, color, strength, and size of your tooth aesthetically.
Crowns in Regina
A Crown is required to cover a tooth to restore its shape, size, and strength. Examples of teeth needing crowns are previously root canaled teeth, teeth with severe trauma, decay or breakdown, resulting in insufficient tooth structure. At our office we use the 3Shape Trios Machine - impression free digital scanning allows us to ensure the process is as accurate as possible.
Bridge/Implant Restorations in Habour Landing
Both these options are used to replace missing teeth. An implant can be placed and restored as a single unit without involving the teeth on either side of the space. Whereas a bridge will span the area where the teeth are missing, attaching to the natural teeth on either side of the space.
Smile Design/Cosmetic Dentistry
Changing your smile can be as simple as a single tooth restoration all the way to a full mouth reconstruction. Design your smile to be exactly as you want it. It primarily improves on size, shape, color, alignment, and overall appearance. From replacing missing teeth to changing the shape to give you that full smile you’ve always wanted and dreamed of.
