YQR Dental Studio, along with the College of Dental Surgeons of Saskatchewan’s (CDSS) objective is the safety of patients and their families, along with the safety for our dental team and theirs.
The office is supplied to have the highest level of personal protective equipment (PPE) and faculty requirements for the types of dental procedures being provided at this time.
We will continue to take measures and operate under all current standards, bylaws and alerts in relation to this COVID-19 pandemic as outlined by our regulatory bodies (which includes CDSS, Saskatchewan Health Authority, Government of Saskatchewan, and Chief Medical Health Officer).
As with Re-Open Saskatchewan, dental offices will re-open in phases. Restrictions will be lifted in stages.
During all phases, we will be following the recommended public health measures such as:
Physical distancing for patients and our team (when possible);
Highest level of regular cleaning and disinfection;
Continuous, frequent handwashing and sanitizing; and
Use of highest level of personal protective equipment where required and appropriate.
As of June 22, 2020, we will be continuing ALL dental treatment including emergencies, urgent & essential dental treatment, along with examinations and thorough hygiene care.

To ensure the safety for patients and our team, there are risk mitigation factors that are implemented such as:
Patient risk assessment screening, including temperature vital sign screening;
Patient hand hygiene;
Pandemic informed consent;
Preprocedural hydrogen peroxide rinse;
Staggered appointment times;
Escort to accompany minor patients only.
